Learn more about this Author:

Robert A. Benjamin has spent a lifetime collecting images and ideas, then learning to refine and polish them to share with the world. As a boy Mr. Benjamin found himself challenged by a love of airplanes. He grew up to become a public school teacher, to instruct young people in the intricacies of mathematics and the wonders of the way things work.

He qualified himself to become a pilot and went on to restore his own single-seat vintage airplane. His love of model airplanes eventually brought him international recognition as a builder of museum quality flying scale models and as a member of the National Model Aviation Hall of Fame. His talents as an artist have put his paintings onto the covers of dozens of magazines and into more than one prestigious museum collection.

Since the days of his youth Mr. Benjamin has found himself driven to discover why all those things should have happened to him. In time he came to understand that his true calling in life was to be a writer. In his first full length book he recounts the days when he first recognized those challenges and set about understanding what he ought to do about them. A Gift of Dreams is about a lot more than learning to build model airplanes and make them fly...it is about discovering the courage to dare to be different.
